Terms and Conditions
Payment in full is due on booking training. Training reservations are not completed until payment has been received. Payment can be made by credit/debit card. Payment by credit / debit card can be taken on a verbal instruction.
Failure to pay the balance in full within 7 days of receipt of the relevant quotation may result in the candidate losing his/her place on all of the courses booked. Candidates will not be able to undertake their assessment unless full payment has been received; or a prior arrangement has been agreed.
Candidate’s assessment paperwork and results will not be transmitted to the certification body for certification until full payment for the course has been received.
Candidates who do not achieve certification will not receive a refund of the fees which they have paid for the course.
RESCHEDULING OF COURSES
For requests to reschedule a booking received more than 28 calendar days in advance of the course start date, there will be no charge incurred.
NGCFE will always do its upmost to work with our clients when things don’t go to plan. Should you need to contact us and provide us with sufficient notice to cancel or move your training date, we will always try to accommodate your situation. We ask that you give us reasonable notice when this is the case. Should you fail to provide sufficient notice to us then we reserve the right to retain the following percentage of the full cost of training / assessment. This value will be deducted from the balance and the remaining funds will be returned to you by way of bank transfer. In the unlikely event that we cancel or rearrange your training / assessment for any reason, then alternative dates will be offered. Should this not be acceptable to you then a full refund will be issued.

All cancellations must be notified in writing.
For requests to cancel a booking received more than 28 calendar days prior to the course start date, the candidate will be given a refund of any prepayment.
For cancellations notified less than 28 calendar days prior to course commencement date, the relevant charges as notified in the “rescheduling of courses” section of this document will apply
In the event of non-attendance, there will be no refund of any prepayment and the full balance will remain due.
National Gas Centre for Excellence reserves the right to cancel a course at any time but we will endeavour to give candidates as much notice as possible. Candidates will be offered an alternative course date, credit or full refund.
(If another candidate subsequently fills the original course date that you no longer require, the appropriate rescheduling or cancellation fee will be refunded).
Please note that if the required level of competency is not achieved in either the practical or theory assessment, it may be necessary for candidates to re-sit the sections which they have been unsuccessful in. A re-sit must be completed within 90 calendar days of initial assessment and within 30 calendar days of re-assessment. The re-sit fee of £180.00 + vat per day will be incurred if this situation arises. If additional training is required, this will be charged at a rate dependant on the nature and amount of training involved.
National Gas Centre for Excellence reserves the right to remove any candidate from a course / facility if their behaviour towards other candidates and /or staff is unacceptable and disruptive to the course
PHOTOGRAPHIC AND SOUND RECORDING EQUIPMENT
Please note that the use of photographic and sound recording equipment is strictly prohibited within any part of the premises where the course is delivered. Any candidate found to be using this type of equipment during their training and / or assessment may be asked to leave their course with no refund of any prepayment.
National Gas Centre for Excellence shall not be liable to the Customer or be deemed to be in breach of Contract by means of any delay in performing or failure to perform any of National Gas Centre for Excellence’s obligations in respect of the Services if the delay or failure was due to any cause beyond National Gas Centre for Excellence reasonable control.
