We offer a variety of courses available, either to complete within our training centre or online in the comfort of your own home. Our courses range from Gas safety to plumbing and health and safety, we’re sure you’ll find the perfect course for you.
Impartial Examinations are undertaken under the control of UK Certification and this is separate from any Training Activity.
ACS GAS SAFETY COURSES
DOMESTIC GAS SAFETY COURSE AND APPLIANCES (INITIAL)
This course is for both new entrants and more experienced installers whose existing CCN1 certificate has lapsed by more than 12 months.
DOMESTIC GAS HEATING INSTALLER – NEW ENTRANTS PACKAGE
This Managed Learning Programme is designed to sit alongside a 6-month work placement and will provide you with the certification you need to enter the gas and heating industry.
GAS SAFETY DOMESTIC APPLIANCES COURSE (INITIAL)
This course offers a choice of individual appliance modules and applies to installers who have modules that expire at a date that is different to the core CCN1 certificate.
CMDDA1 CARBON MONOXIDE TESTING TRAINING COURSE
This course is aimed at those responsible for investigating reports of fumes, smells or leakage of combustion products in domestic premises – for example, following the activation of a CO alarm – through the use of a portable electronic combustion gas analyser.
DOMESTIC HEATING SYSTEM AND BOILER FAULT FINDING COURSE
This course has been developed for gas engineers who require the skills and technical knowledge to carry out boiler and heating control fault-finding in advance of installation, maintenance and repair work.
GAS SAFETY AWARENESS IN SOCIAL HOUSING OR RESIDENTIAL PREMISES COURSE
This RQF Level 2 Award is for those working in the social housing sector and private rental sector who are not gas qualified. This could include landlords and maintenance staff.
LPG ACS GAS SAFETY COURSES
LPG CHANGEOVER COURSE
This course is for experienced gas engineers who hold valid CCN1 and COCN1 qualifications and are looking to expand their knowledge to cover LPG.
HOT WATER SYSTEMS AND SAFETY COURSE
This course provides candidates with the training and qualifications needed to work legally on unvented hot water systems.
LEGIONELLA TREATMENT OPERATIVES COURSE
This course is designed for installers who undertake work on water supply systems within residential properties as a way of preventing cases of legionnaires disease.
WATER REGULATIONS ADVISORY SCHEME COURSE
This course is for heating and plumbing installers who need to gain a knowledge and understanding of the Water Regulations (1999).
HEALTH & SAFETY COURSES
WORKING AT HEIGHTS TRAINING
This course covers all aspects of safety for employers and employees who regularly work at height, including on roofs and using a safety harness system.
This course provides the knowledge needed to understand the risks and dangers associated with manual handling in order to avoid costly injuries to yourself and, if you are an employer, your members of staff.
FACE FIT TRAINING/FACE FIT TESTING
This course provides attendees with the understanding of the risks and dangers of dusts, gasses, viruses and vapours, and other seen and unseen airborne particulates that could pose a health risk.
ONLINE TRAINING COURSES
This online course covers all aspects of asbestos awareness and is aimed at anyone who comes into contact with this dangerous material as part of their work. This is commonly builders, plumbers, electricians and others involved in the building and maintenance trades.
BASIC ELECTRICAL SAFETY
This online course helps to raise awareness of the dangers associated with electricity in a range of scenarios and the practical steps that can be taken to eliminate or reduce the risks.
BASIC MANUAL HANDLING
This course allows employers to train their staff on how to lift and carry safely in relation to the Manual Handling Operations Regulations 1992.
BASIC WORKING AT HEIGHTS
This online course covers all areas of safety for those regularly working at height. ‘Working at Height’ covers a wide range of scenarios, including walking on platforms, using ladders and working with scaffold.
CONTROL OF SUBSTANCES HAZARDOUS TO HEALTH (COSHH)
This online course covers everything you need to know about the Control of Substances Hazardous to Health (COSHH) in the workplace.
BASIC FIRE SAFETY
This online course covers the basics of fire safety, including why fires occur, what must be done to prevent them and the right way to respond when they do start.
FIRE WARDEN TRAINING
This online course will provide all the knowledge you need to carry out the key responsibilities of a fire warden, including fire prevention, evacuation protocol and a working knowledge of fire extinguishers.
HEALTH AND SAFETY AT WORK AWARENESS
It is imperative that all employers and employees can carry out their jobs safely and without the worry of having an accident. This course covers a range of hazardous situations, giving businesses confidence that their health and safety obligations are being met.
This online course is for businesses that employ someone who works in isolation for extended periods. Those working alone face specific risks that employers must be aware of as many of them are not common in the average busy workplace.
PERSONAL PROTECTIVE EQUIPMENT (PPE)
Today Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) is an important area for workers to have working knowledge of. This course will look at exactly what PPE is, including the different types of clothing and regulations that apply, when you should use it and how it relates to a range of different trades.

This online course will show you how to reduce the risks associated with slips, trips and falls, so that you can protect yourself from injury, as well as comply with your workplace’s health and safety requirements.
