Our Trainers

Heading up our team of trainers is Michael Hunt, Managing Director National Gas Centre for Excellence, who has 16-years’ experience in the industry and has experience in all aspects of heating and plumbing.

It is this expertise that Michael is looking to pass on to those looking to add to their training or take that important first step towards a career as an engineer.

In his spare time he enjoys boxing, football, walking and socialising.

Michael Hunt

Managing Director

“At NGCFE, we have everything in place to simulate a real working environment, so that candidates really feel as if they are on the job as opposed to being assessed in a bay.

“It’s important to us that we focus on the why, not just the how. For this reason, we have additional equipment that allows us to manipulate appliances and situations to present various scenarios. This helps candidates get to grips with the issues they are likely to face in the field.”
